Yes, it’s free to download on iOS and Android. When you book someone, you pay their price plus the network fee. When you earn, FeeMe keeps a service fee, and the rate depends on the type of payment (see How do payouts work? below). Every fee is shown before you confirm.

FeeMe’s fee depends on the payment. Messages under 5,000 sats, including in channels, have a higher fee than calls, bounties, paid answers, tips, channel memberships and messages of 5,000 sats or more. The exact rates are under How do payouts work? below. The 5,000-sat line is based on what the payment is worth in sats when it’s sent, and the app shows it live. The person paying covers the network fee. FeeMe takes nothing on unclaimed bounty amounts.

Earnings go straight to a non-custodial Bitcoin or Litecoin wallet. You hold the keys. FeeMe does not custody your funds.

Litecoin is far cheaper per transaction, so a small side hustle payment is actually worth sending. Move it to bitcoin or to dollars when you want, through a service you choose.

Payments go wallet to wallet. You earn from the payer, and FeeMe never holds the money. FeeMe’s service fee is 20% on calls, bounties, paid answers, tips, channel memberships and messages of 5,000 sats or more, so you keep 80%. On messages under 5,000 sats, including messages inside channels, the fee is 50%, so you keep 50%.[ 2% on ___.]

If someone signs up with your ReachMe Code, you earn 5% of FeeMe’s fee on each eligible payment they receive, for up to 5 years from their sign-up date. That’s 1% of the payment on calls, bounties, paid answers, tips, channel memberships and messages of 5,000 sats or more, and 2.5% on messages under 5,000 sats[, and 0.1% on ___]. It comes out of FeeMe’s share, never theirs or the payer’s. The payer’s wallet sends your reward straight to your wallet as part of the payment.

Before the app sends your first ReachMe reward, we ask for a Form W-9, or a Form W-8 if you’re not a US person. Until we have it, the app waits to send your share, whatever the amount. FeeMe doesn’t hold the money while it waits. FeeMe never has your keys, so we can’t recover your wallet for you. If you saved your recovery phrase, you can restore your wallet on a new phone [confirm the app supports restore from a recovery phrase]. If you didn’t, the funds may be lost for good. Never share your recovery phrase — FeeMe will never ask for it.

No. FeeMe doesn’t verify the people answering legal, health or money questions, and every answer on those topics is labeled unverified.
